The 8 powers (I)

When we begin to explore our spiritual identity, become available to us 8 forms of power. Being aware of these powers is especially useful in difficult times when we need to keep our inner strength and fullness of resources.

The first power is the power of the introvert, the ability to transform unhelpful thought patterns into a higher state of consciousness. Allows us to "retro" negativity - interior and exterior - enabling us to respond and not simply react to people and situations around us.

The second power is like the first, but more to do with feelings and emotions. With this power - the power to melt - we can easily see that spiritual feelings that still harbor in our hearts. We learn to let those feelings without love will dissolve in the light and the love of God. This transforms them, leaving feelings of compassion, no matter what the situation or the behavior of others.

When these two powers begin to work for us, our head and our heart becomes healthier. This is the basis for the next two powers, the powers of tolerating and accommodating.

When tolerance begins to operate as a power, are the people around us they notice it. We ourselves are barely aware of it. An image used for this power is a fruit tree bends its branches full of fruit to children who throw stones at him so that fall fruits. Tolerance as power works the same way. Not affect us that we throw stones. Remains unaffected and, without making efforts, we continue our "fruits" - healthy thoughts and feelings that come from our innate goodness.

A river is unusual move in a straight line from origin to reach the sea. Molds and a river flows, fits to the particular terrain that moves. And yet, he does not lose its direction, always oriented towards its final destination. Likewise, the fourth power - accommodate - allows us to flow with life, take us calmly turns and changes, never losing our focus or compromise our goal.
